"We have a strong team across the region and great client relationships across sectors and markets. I look forward to working with our teams and clients to continue elevating our work, and ensuring our clients receive solutions that help them evolve and grow their businesses in these complex times," Thukral added.
Ed Williams, Edelman's International President, commended Fernandez for his contributions to Edelman's growth in APAC, particularly in media.
Commenting on Thukral's appointment, Williams added, "Rakesh's experience is invaluable as he has successfully partnered with global companies entering India and supported Indian businesses in their global expansion. I am confident he will continue to position our business effectively in this dynamic region."
