Noida Airport, Indian Oil Forge 30-Year Fueling Pact
The Noida International Airport (NIA) has entered into a significant 30-year concession agreement with the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL). This strategic partnership will see IOCL operate fuel stations at three key locations within the airport premises. The collaboration aims to ensure uninterrupted access to high-quality fuelling services at the airport, thereby supporting NIA's vision of becoming a seamless and efficient aviation hub.
The agreement will facilitate the establishment and operation of three fuel stations by IOCL, the country's largest oil company. These stations will be strategically located near the main western access road for passengers, one airside for airport operations, and near the eastern cargo precinct. The design of these fuel stations will adhere to global standards of safety and operational excellence, aligning with NIA's vision of creating a world-class airport for Northern India.
The Noida International Airport, scheduled to commence operations in 2025, will connect the greater Delhi area and western Uttar Pradesh with other cities in India and the world. The airport aims to combine Swiss efficiency and Indian hospitality to offer rich experiences and comprehensive commercial attractions and services to its passengers.

NIA is committed to an ambitious net-zero emissions goal supported by sustainable design and operations principles. Christoph Schnellmann, CEO of Noida International Airport, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration with IOCL. He stated, Our collaboration with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd marks another milestone in NIA's journey to operational readiness. By partnering with one of India's most trusted fuel providers, we will ensure seamless and efficient fuelling services at the airport. This is a step forward in building Noida International Airport as the gateway to Northern India.
Echoing Schnellmann's sentiments, Sumeet Munshi, Divisional Retail Sales Head of IOCL's Noida Divisional Office, said, Indian Oil is proud to join hands with Noida International Airport to create an unparalleled experience for travellers. This collaboration underscores our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer convenience. By setting up these fuel stations, we are not only serving customers but also supporting the region's growing infrastructural requirements.
A Step Towards a Seamless Aviation Hub
The airport's intermodal connectivity and focus on innovation and efficiency align with IOCL's mission to energize India's growth story. The Noida International Airport (IATA code - DXN) is set to become a significant player in the aviation sector, offering a world-class airport that combines Swiss efficiency and Indian hospitality. The airport is committed to achieving a net-zero emissions goal, supported by sustainable design and operations principles.
This partnership between NIA and IOCL is a significant step towards achieving a smooth and effective aviation hub. It will ensure continuous access to first-rate fuelling services at the airport, thereby enhancing the overall passenger experience. The agreement also underscores the commitment of both entities to innovation, sustainability, and customer convenience. By setting up these fuel stations, IOCL is not only serving customers but also supporting the region's growing infrastructural requirements.
