A cruise company based in Florida is giving Americans the option to "skip" Donald Trump's potential second term through a four-year world tour.

Villa Vie Residences recently introduced its Tour La Vie program, which allows travellers to explore over 140 countries while steering clear of the U.S.

The company announced the innovative marketing campaign on November 7, and has since reported a significant surge in enquiries.

Extended Voyage Options and Pricing

The cruise line's extended voyage options range from one to four years aboard the Villa Vie Odyssey, with the longest package dubbed the "Skip Forward" trip.

The Tour La Vie trip offers a variety of extended stays aboard the Villa Vie Odyssey, including a one-year "Escape from Reality" cruise, a two-year "Mid-Term Selection" cruise, a three-Year "Everywhere but Home" option, and the four-year "Skip Forward" trip.

"We came up with this marketing campaign before we even knew who would win. Regardless of who would have won, you would have half of the population upset," CEO Mikael Petterson told Newsweek. "Quite frankly, we don't have a political view one way or the other. We just wanted to give people who feel threatened to have a way to get out."

The exclusive journey is priced from £31,600 annually, with single-occupancy cabins for the entire four-year trip starting at £202,700.

Double-occupancy cabins for the full duration are available for up to £253,400. The all-inclusive package covers all meals and beverages, with alcohol provided only during dinner hours.

Passengers will also be provided with complimentary WiFi, medical visits and weekly housekeeping services.

Itinerary

The itinerary begins with a month-long stay in the Caribbean before embarking on a four-month South American adventure.

The South American portion of the trip includes two crossings of the Panama Canal and stops at two World Wonders.

Travelers will explore the Chilean Fjords and enjoy a sail-by of Antarctica during the voyage.

The journey also features participation in Rio's Carnival festivities and an eight-day expedition along the Amazon River.

The Villa Vie Odyssey, which accommodates up to 600 passengers, is currently in its second month of a bold 15-year global tour.

Recently, the ship hosted election night watch parties, with passengers divided between Fox News and MSNBC viewers.
