Legendary rocker Bruce Springsteen, known as "The Boss," recently visited the set of his upcoming biopic, Deliver Me From Nowhere, where The Bear actor Jeremy Allen White is portraying Springsteen.
Dressed as 1980s-era Springsteen, Allen White was photographed alongside the rock icon in Bayonne, New Jersey, according to Variety. The actor and director Scott Cooper were filming a scene set in what appeared to be a car dealership parking lot.
During the visit, Springsteen and Allen White shared a hug and admired classic cars, including a Chevrolet Z28 Camaro-the first car Springsteen reportedly ever purchased. Allen White's role centers around Springsteen's life during the creation of his 1982 album Nebraska.
Filming is taking place in New Jersey and New York, with additional production in Los Angeles. The biopic, produced by Disney's 20th Century Studios, is set for release next year.
Last week, fans got their first look at Allen White as Springsteen, with the actor sporting Springsteen's signature flannel and leather jacket. He wore a similar outfit during Springsteen's visit, while the rock star donned a red-and-white-checked peacoat, cream scarf, and sunglasses.
Springsteen and his longtime manager, Jon Landau, are deeply involved with the project. In May, Variety reported that Succession actor Jeremy Strong is in talks to portray Landau.
Disney Live Action and 20th Century Studios President David Greenbaum expressed his enthusiasm for the project, calling it an "honor" to collaborate with Springsteen and entrusting the film to director Scott Cooper, known for his commitment to authenticity.
