India's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki has opened bookings for its highly anticipated 4th generation Dzire on Monday, November 04, 2024. 

Touted to be the top selling compact sedan in the Indian market, the new edition of Dzire set to revolutionise the segment with its futuristic stylish design and multiple features. 

According to reports, Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch the vehicle on the market on November 11, while several leaked images of the car have already surfaced the online spaces. 

Dzire: India's Most Favorite Compact Sedan

Maruti Suzuki launched Dzire in 2008, and since then, the company has sold over 2,700,000 units in India, surpassing the sales figures of arch rivals including Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze etc. 

"With the All-New Dzire, we have crafted something that's not just the best in its segment but goes beyond conventional expectations... By combining advanced powertrain options with thoughtfully curated features, the All-New Dzire is poised to deliver an exceptional experience," said Partho Banerjee, senior executive officer of Marketing and Sales at Maruti Suzuki, as reported by Economic Times. 

He also added that the 4th generation Dzire will have all the advanced features and style, which will make it the perfect choice for sedan lovers. 

The company said that buyers can book the sedan at an initial price of Rs.1,000. 

Maruti Suzuki Continues Dominance in Indian Market

Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki clocked record number of sales in the Indian market in October, as it sold more than 200,000 units in the month alone, driven by the robust demand due to festive season. 

Unlike previous years, Diwali, Navratri, and Dhanteras fell in the same month in 2024, and this is considered one of the crucial factors behind this robust growth in sales. 

Prior to the previous month, the largest sale in the history of Maruti Suzuki happened in October 2020 when the company delivered 1.91 lakh units, primarily propelled by the people's need to have their own transport due to the pandemic outbreak.
